On December 22 Mr. Askar Beshimov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Malaysia met in Kuala Lumpur with the General Secretary of the World Islamic Economic Forum (VIEF) Mr. Ahmad Fuzi.
As reported in the embassy, a meeting was held in the framework of the study and involvement of investment projects in Kyrgyzstan based on Islamic principles of financing.
Thus, the sides discussed about the possibility of holding in 2012 in Kyrgyzstan, a round table under the auspices VIEF to promote Islamic principles of finance and the halal industry. The event is proposed for the preparation of the next Forum which will be held in Abu Dhabi. Were discussed practical issues of organizing such events.
Following the meeting, the sides outlined a plan of action to implement the reached agreements, according to AKI.
