MIRBIS held the second graduation of the “Islamic finance” course

Moscow International High School of Business (MIRBIS) held the second graduation of the short training course on “Islamic finance”.

27th of May the students of the course, according to the training program, presented their final projects using different tools of Islamic financing. In total, 4 projects were presented to the jury, including the establishment of Islamic insurance company in Russia, a consulting company for Islamic finance, the expansion of existing-halal fast-food restaurants with the resources on the principle of mudaraba and the establishment of a leasing company (Ijarah).

The major interest amnog the audience was brought by the project to build the network of fast food restaurants based on available network Burgen Khan, products and services which fully comply with Islamic ethics. Students presented visually the external look and interior of the restaraunts to the audience, described in details the competitive advantages, an advertising campaign and also detail calculation of financing perfomance.

As a result of the discussion of this project the jury awarded it the first place as a more interested and attractive project for investors.

The second place was awarded to the project of creating the consulting company. The jury emphasized the innovative component of the project.

The third place was awarded the project of creating and development the leasing company according to the Islamic principles.

Two projects from the presented by the graduates will be presented during the First Moscow International Halal Exhibition.

After announcing the results the students got the certificates of graduation.

10th of the June the third course intake will take place, and it will last 2 weeks, classes will hold every day afternoon.
