Islamic Finance in practice

Final projects presentation of MIRBIS students, who graduated the preliminary course on Islamic Finance, will take place on 27 May.

Employees of Russian banks and auditing companies, business representatives and students of senior courses of MGIMO are among the graduates of the second course.

After the presentation all the students will receive the certificates. The students also will get an offing to come into Association of the graduates of course on Islamic Finance and to attend the lectures on Islamic Finance.

The program “Islamic Finance” for the second course was improved according to the requests of the first course students. Professor of the Higher School of Economics L.Sykiyaynen, the first Shariah advisor in Russia, received the certificate of AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions), general director of the Fund “Zakat” under the DUM of Tatarstan Bulat hazrat Mulukov, the lecture of Moscow Islamic college H.Sitdekov, the lecture of MGIMO R.Bekkin, PH.D A.Juravlev, Director at Structured and syndicated finance department with Gazprombank A.Kazakov, partner of law firm Y.Tuktarov, Head of international tax service group of "Pepeliaev Group" R.Vakhitov and others participated under the course.

The international branch was presented by experts from Islamic Bank “Muamalat” Indonesia and from the first Islamic Bank in Kazakhstan “Al-Hilal”.

The third selection for the course “Islamic Finance” will begin on 10 June. It will be held during 2 weeks. The lections will take place every day in afternoon.
