The Exhibition will cover three main subjects:
- Halal products and services (conditions of production in Russia and the world, major trends and problems of industry development, experience exchange between countries in the field of standardization and certification of Halal products);
- Islamic finance, banking, insurance (legal environment, Shariah law regulation, existing projects in Russia, educational programmes, international experience);
- Islamic culture (variety of song genres, visual art, Muslim fashion – major trends, collections of various designers).
Halal industry is currently in the stage of active development. This is due to several factors: the growth of religious consciousness of Muslims, the growing desire of Muslims to respect the rules of Islam in all spheres of life, the growing interest of companies that manufacture products under the brand “Halal”.
The Organizers set the ambitious but yet quite realizable problems – to draw attention to the “Halal” subject as a way of life of a Muslim, as well as a set of moral principles in production, commerce, finance, recreation, and to discuss as closely as possible all aspects of this subject involving the highest possible number of interested parties.
This Exhibition may be useful both for domestic and foreign producers of food, medicine, clothing, perfumes, cosmetics, equipment for their production, and for those who render services in the field of Islamic finance, banking and investment projects. Given the growing interest in the scientific community to the subject of halal industry, the Exhibition aims to become a platform for discussions about the role of the scientific community and research institutions and universities in the development of these industries.
The participants of the Exhibition (Exhibitors) will not only be able to showcase their products to the general public, but also to take part in all of the scheduled activities at the Exhibition: the Forum “Halal Industry in Russia and in the World”, the Conference “Islamic Finance: Development in Russia”, bilateral meetings, numerous discussions, business presentations. In addition, there will be various cultural events during the Exhibition.
