Within the programme of the unique event in Russia - First Moscow International Halal Exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2010 Internatinal Conference will take place "Islamic Finance: Development in Russia".

. The conference is tobecome continuation of the orderly development of the topic of Islamic Finance in Russia.

In 2009 Russia Mufties Council came up as co organizer of two big conferences in Moscow together with "Business Conferences" and "The Moscow Times" - the international conference "Islamic Banking: specifics and Prospects" in March 17-18, 2009 (resolution of the conference) and the International Conference "Islamic finance: prospects of development in Russia", held on December 10, 2009 (resolution of the conference).

The International Conference in March 2009 revealed the necessity to unite efforts of experts into the initiative group in order to create condition for sustained developmetn of the Islamic finance instruments in Russia. In May 2009 on the basis provided by Russia mufties Council the Working group on alternative (Islamic) financial institutions and products was created, that united experts in the fields of finance, banking, law and taxation. Within several months of 2009 the working group held meetings devoted to separate products of Islamic finance in Russia: partnership operations (musharaka and mudharaba), sale operations (murabaha), Islamic insurance (takaful) and Islamic bonds (sukuk).

The results of the discussions within the meetings of the working group were presented by the experts at the International Conference "Islamic Finance: Prospects of Development in Russia". At the same Conference the decision was made of the necessity to create expert organization uniting the professional in the filed. As a result in February 2010 Russian Association of Experts in Islamic Financing was created. The mission of RAEIF is development in Russia professional unity of specialists in the field of Islamic Financing.

The International Conference "Islamic Finance: Development in Russia" will enable the participants to take part in B2B meetings and hold negotiations wth the representatives of business circles of Russia and the Muslim countries. The desired contacts can be settled in advance through passing registration to B2B.
