On behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, I warmly welcome and congratulate you with the beginning of the second international exhibition of goods and services permitted for Muslims — Moscow Halal Expo 2011.

The Moscow exhibition has all chances to become the largest specialized exhibition in Russia, in the former Soviet Union and in the Eastern Europe. Pleased to acknowledge the growth tendency of Russian products of "Halal" standard, the expansion of the range and quality of goods, especially food.

It is worth noting the eventful Business program of the Exhibition that will identify the main directions for the development of halal products market in Russia.

I am confident that the exhibition will become a good platform for sharing experience, networking opportunities and demonstrations of scientific developments.
