Unfortunately, the modern industry of goods and services, doesn't always correspond to moral standards and requirements inherent in human nature. In this regard, it is important that II Moscow International Halal Exhibition - Moscow Halal Expo 2011 - continues to develop successfully, urging the business community to operate in accordance with universal moral principles.

Through rejecting the negative social evils and goods and paying special attention to the development of such vital areas as food, clothing, cosmetics, tourism and finance, the Halal Industry can certainly make a major contribution to the Russian economy and serve not only to the benefit of twenty million Muslim population of the country, but also to the entire Russian society.

Today, Russia is one of the most promising regions for the formation and development of Islamic economics, both in the real sector and in finance. But before we become leaders in this area, we have a lot to learn about. I hope that the activities of the Business program of Moscow Halal Expo 2011 will contribute to resolving of many problems of production and certification of halal products and services.
